IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity group of Bangladesh Section in collaboration with WePOWER Bangladesh National Chapter, IEEE Bangladesh Section, Department of EEE, BUET and IEEE Industrial Applications Society Bangladesh Chapter have come together to have WePower Symposium, scheduled to be held on March 8, 2025, at Room 634, Department of EEE, BUET, Dhaka from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This year’s International Women’s Day 2025 theme, Theme: #AccelerateAction, "2025: The Year to Act for ALL Women and Girls," highlights the urgency of taking bold action to break down systemic barriers, empower women across all sectors, and create inclusive opportunities for the next generation. The event will particularly focus on gender stereotypes, employment challenges, and career barriers faced by female graduates in the energy and power sectors.
